The PM@AT Gate Methodology, a core component of Alliant Technologies’ project management approach, is organized into three overarching phases that define project ownership throughout its lifecycle. Within these phases, projects are segmented into distinct, time-limited stages. Each stage concludes with a gate, where progress is evaluated against specific criteria before moving forward.

Phases (define project ownership): Sales, Implementation, and Warranty.

Stages (time-limited project segments, each ending with a gate): Quotation, Contract Negotiation, Design, Production, Installation, Commissioning, and Warranty.

Gates (checkpoints between stages): Project Start Approved, Binding Quotation Submitted, Contract Signed/Transferred, Design Approved, Materials On-site, Installation Completed, Handover, and End of Warranty Period.
